My Story

There is a legend, that might be true, no one knows for sure. If you ever see a cottage with two red eyes in darkness shining through a small window in some woods, you know that this house will be the one. It was one winters' night at around midnight, when a small, humble girl leapt back in fright at the sight of a ghastly cottage standing in the middle of some woods. She was trekking her home 50 miles off and for the first time she noticed the ghostly house. Grey moss covered the black brick which tilted to one side on an uneven ground smothered in mud. She knew it would take some time before she reached her small home and it was of course midnight, so she decided to take this option that she had, knock on the front door. With fright in her eyes and anxiousness in her heart, she took a small step toward to unbearable house and timidly knocked on the grey front door. Slowly, but surely, the crooked door opened and an old woman with green hair, a frightening grin and unusually sharp teeth let her in. The surely haunted house was scary and the woman sat the girl on a small dusty old table. Her teeth grew sharper and the girl instantly knew that there was something wrong with her. She paralysed the girl when she pointed to the heater. The girl obeyed her commands and walked into the blazing fire. The woman got her pitchfork and stabbed the young girl several times before switching everything off and showing her gleaming, red eyes through the window.

The car Stopped Suddenly (100WC)

Moments later, I carefully and gently opened my blurry eyes. I could see around about 2 or 3 of everything around me. Pounding, my heart was almost about to burst out of my chest while my hurting head was throbbing. At the same time as my eyes returning back to their normal state, I cautiously got up from the car’s seat and sat back into a relaxing position. I was not quite sure if my parents had realised what had happened to me; I wasn’t too sure either!  Slowly, I looked at of the window and the car stopped suddenly…

Skyfall - James Bond

On Saturday, I watched Skyfall James Bond! It was amzing, I recommend this film to anyone looking for a good film to watch!!

I will tell you the plot if you want to read it :

James Bond is trying to kill this man because he has a very important list that the MI6 need. They end up fighting on top of a train!! The other member of the MI6 who came with him was told to take the shot which was not clean, she shot James and he fell into deep, deep water and drowned...

If you want to read more carry on :

Weeks later, James flies back over to London to join the MI6 since he survived the incident in which he was involved. He was lucky and woke up on the beach of a small island. When he arrived in London, he could see the building, which held MI6 in, was ruined: it got blown up. He was told that MI6 was now underground, he was led there and spoke about getting back to work. They set him off straight away and showed him a few new secret additions to MI6, some of these were:
Lions from Africa to be used as killers and weapons,
Normal everyday pets such as cats and dogs to be used as spies,
Cheetahs to be used to catch enemies who have a rapid pace,

these are just a few but there is a lot more to it. He was set on a misson to rescue victims who were attacked by aliens or what they thought were aliens, this was where the name 'Skyfall' came from: aliens falling from the sky. U.F.O's were landing and foreign objects were shooting with high-tech guns. James Bond needed to defeat them like he had done with other bad guys.

In the end it all turns out well.
James Bond manages one again to:
    Save the world,
    Kill the enemey and,
    Take the girl home!

...

Only joking! You are going to have to watch it now! Hahaha. :D

Arthur the Skeleton!

Arthur is a skeleton whose body parts I have collected for years. Every fortnight I used to get an issue, which is a magazine with one body part in it. It took me three years to collect everything but I got there in the end. I started collecting them when I was about 3 or 4. We started to put together the body but didn't have time to finish it. My brother was born when I was 6 so we forgot all about doing it and it got left in the dusty attic....

^ This is Arthur before we started on him again.

It took us 1 and a half days to finish him off which pales in comparison to 5 or 6 years of keeping him a prisoner in our attic!! When Arthur's bones were all in place, we had to put his muscles on, this was very, very hard, here's a picture.
View IMG00048-20130217-2029.jpg in slide show His muscles are on his arms so far.

The muscles were the most challenging part of Arthur because the plastic had gone into a funny shape because it had been left, squashed together, for so long.

When we got Arthur on his stand, and got his neck muscles in place, my brother, Mahaan, stood next to him, (my brother was a little taller though!). Here is a picture:.

I'm sorry that this image is the wrong way up.

< Me and Arthur!!

We made the muscles seperately to Arthur so they would stick better. I did that job!! It was hard!

What's That? (My 500 Word Challenge)

Loudly, the heavy rain poured down as the angry wind howled at the roaring thunder. The freezing night outside was nowhere near the cosiness of our small cottage. While I watched the rain outside, I sat in front of the burning fire. We had no electricity because of the rain. Even though I was sitting in front of the fire, I was still shivering all over.

As I looked around the dark room, I thought I saw something- I didn’t know what it was but I was too scared to stand up and search. After a moment or two, my mother came into the gloomy room holding a candle in one hand and a blanket in the other. She gave the blanket to me to wrap around myself for warmth and put the candle on the table in the middle of the room to help the roasting fire illuminate the room.

I didn’t tell her about what I had seen but I am not sure if that was the wisest decision. I kept my lips zipped as I stared outside at the starry sky. A few moments later, I looked at the corner of the room where I saw it; I kept looking and saw it again. I saw it more clearly the second time round: it was some sort of ghost like person with a sharp knife in its hand. I saw its eyes. They were red.

I screamed as soon as I saw the knife, got up and went to my mother. She instantly looked in the same direction I was looking and got on her feet as well. The figure disappeared when my mother grabbed the diminutive candle placed on the small, wooden table. She took small steps up to the corner by the door and then exited the room: I followed. All I could hear was my heart pounding in my chest which faded out the sound of the thunderous rain.

Me and my mother stood dead in our tracks when we saw the person again at the top of the stairs. Rapidly, the shape vanished. We waited a few seconds before we started our walk up the steep steps. I felt like I was going to faint because of everything that was going on around me. Finally, we reached the top, still with me hiding behind my mother’s back. We saw it slowly drift into a wooden cupboard. We walked towards it – our hearts beating hastily now. When we opened it, I hoped that we wouldn’t see it and we would be opening the door to Narnia but that obviously wasn’t going to happen.

When we opened it, it was empty…

My mother looked around the cupboard through the coats, but still, nothing was there. My nerves seemed to have calmed down however, I wasn’t calmed down; I knew that that wasn’t the end of this haunting night. I turned around timidly. It was there. My mother turned around. The figure made the first move…
