Rain
Pitter, patter, pitter, patter,
The rain drips slowly down the window,
Chitter,chatter,chitter,chatter,
Can't hear much of that high or low,
Pitter, patter, pitter, patter,
The rain drenches the roof tiles,
Clitter,clatter,clitter,clatter,
That is the only sound on this isle,
My fist is clenched under my chin,
Looks like the rain is going to win,
Preventing me from playing is its only sin,
Sitting by the window infront of the rain makes me feel like an used pin.

My adventure, 100 word challenge.
I had been walking for ages. My legs were cold and aching but I couldn’t stop searching. Slowly, flake by flake, snow started falling: I thought that there was enough snow on the ground already! My feet felt numb inside my boots but I couldn’t stop searching – I couldn’t stop searching for shelter, somewhere to stay for the night. I had been walking in the forest and before I knew it, I was roaming around in snow, I tried turning back but there was no way out. It was sunset when I came to a cottage, it looked upside down…

Global Punjabi Society (GPS)
Last night was AMAZING!!! Our family went up to Nottingham for an event, it was an award night and diwali celebration. It was arranged by the Global Punjabi Society (GPS) the UK chapter. This picture is of me, my brother Mahaan and my granddad before we got to Nottingham.
We were the first people (as guests) there. With us, we brought prizes for the raffle. Soon after we arrived, more people came; around about half past eight we started filling up the main hall in the Atrium banqueting suite. We were sitting on table 19, the second row in front of the stage!
When everyone was seated, we got our starters. Me and my three cousins ate quite quickly so we could start selling the raffle tickets, we had 3 books to get through!! We were spilt into to 2 groups: me and one of my cousins and the other two of my cousins together. Because we were children and the money was for a good cause, lots of people bought tickets. It was £5 for a strip/row. In our first round selling the tickets we sold about 250 together, all 4 of us. We had to stop after a while because the speeches and awards started.
At about 10:00 we had our main course, after I had eaten I went to go and help my mom sell the last of the raffle tickets. We sold about 500 in the end!! We counted the money and put the raffle tickets in a bag.
We counted the money and raised £720 !! We had a GREAT time and met and took a picture with a Bollywood actress!! In this picture she is the one in the middle.
